Gliding club show their wings

The EP Gliding Club, based at the Uitenhage Aerodrome, is currently experiencing an increase in membership and also an interest in club activities. As part of their awareness campaigns to inform the public about gliding as a sport, they invited Khanyisa Pre-school to the airfield.

Club members Colin Dettmann and Danie Taljard informed the children about gliders and flying in general. The children were amazed to have the opportunity of sitting in the cockpit. (Front page, UD NEWS, 21/05/2009)
