Rieti WGC - 18th Cancelled

As you know by now, yesterday was a no fly day. It was a good call. We took a drive up Terminillo and the heavens opened. We originally thought it was only on the mountain but when we drove down the whole place was wet.

Because of the rain yesterday there is a lot of moisture in the air. I can see big cumulus clouds on the ridges. However, the weather forecast says that it will dry up later. I am not convinced but then again, I am blonde.

Tonight we have the farewell dinner and tomorrow is the closing ceremony. On Monday morning we hit the road back to Germany with a stop over in Switzerland. The schedule says we will be back in SA on Wednesday morning.
